Unleash the power of your soul in the Soul Brawl mode, get swole with your favorite Fighters (and their Little Legend trainers) at the Choncc Dome event, and do it all in tournament style with new Tacticians, Booms, and the arena where it all went down! Welcome to the fight—now let’s get equipped with the know-how to win it!

The Soul Brawl mode and the Choncc Dome event will be live from July 19th (afternoon PT) to August 15th (afternoon PT). Soul Brawl and the around-game event, The Choncc Dome, mark the first time TFT has had an Event Pass AND the first time the around-game event has been available on mobile!

GAME MODE: SOUL BRAWL

What’s a fighting tournament without a little training montage, a bit of smack talk, and a whole lot more smacking? The Soul Brawl mode has two phases, the Training Phase from 1-1 to 3-8, and the best of 3 Tournament Phase past 3-8. For the phase with the smack talk please see the Event Hub section.

Training Phase: 1-1 to 3-8

During the training phase you will be gathering Soul Power upon winning rounds (30), losing rounds (15), and killing enemy champions (1). Soul Power replaces Health and can only go up—no stealing souls allowed!

Soul Power will increase the number of loot options you get from Gwen and Sett when they visit to help with loot, or appear as a PvE boss to help with violence (and more loot). Soul Power will also empower your Soul Crown after the Training Phase.

During training you’ll be granted the Imperfect Soul Crown. The Imperfect Soul Crown increases the crowned unit’s stats (AD, AP, and HP) and allows their last listed non-unique trait to count as two. The crown can only be used during the planning phase, and is a reusable consumable, meaning it doesn’t take up an item slot and you’ll get to re-equip it, much like Dragonmancer’s Blessing in Dragonlands or the Mecha Prime designator in Monsters Attack!

During the Training Phase the goal is to build out your comp, collect Soul Power, and most importantly win—cause you should train with as much effort as you would during a best of three elimination tournament bracket—speaking of…

Tournament Phase

When training is done, you can no longer obtain Soul Power. Now it’s time to unleash what you’ve gathered and settle the score during a best of three Tournament bracket—it’s all built up to this!

Sensing the heightened stakes, your Imperfect Soul Crown will transform into its perfect form, so perfect that it doesn’t need to be called Perfect Soul Crown, so you can just refer to it as The Soul Crown. Equipping and using the Soul Crown is the exact same, but this time it will provide even MORE stats (AD, AP, HP) based off of your total Soul Power from Training, AND it will have an additional effect: The first time the equipped champion would die they are instead brought back to life. Once revived, they’ll have health equal to double the amount of Soul Power you’ve gathered over the course of the game and they’ll be cleansed of all negative effects.

Now’s the time to make those risky positioning decisions with your empowered carry, slam those final items, and roll to zero (actually do this), cause losing twice will result in your elimination from the match! Good luck!

Additional Details

Streaks are removed, instead you’ll get more passive gold per round. Interest will be the same as in standard. There are a few Region Portals and Augments that have been disabled in Soul Brawl. The Pengu and Vladimir Legends will also be unavailable due to the game mode not using Tactician Health. Finally, a few Augments and traits will behave similar to how they do in Hyper Roll (Piltover, Salvage Bin, etc). Finally, here’s a quick overview of the game mode’s rules as discussed above:

EVENT PASS AND MORE!

The Choncc Dome is our first event that will have an Event Pass. The Pass is similar to our standard set/mid-set Pass, as you’ll unlock new thematic content as you play and collect XP. The Event Pass is shorter both in length and tracked milestones since it will only be live during our event. Because of this reduced duration and track the event Pass is cheaper than our regular Pass. The Event Pass will have separate XP from the Runeterra Reforged Pass XP, meaning that Soul Fighter missions will only progress the Soul Fighter Event Pass. Soul Fighter missions will can be progressed in other TFT game modes as well. You will be able to purchase the Soul Fighter Event Pass for 575 RP before the the event turns on at 3PM PT. You're welcome to buy it ahead of this time, but rewards and XP for the event Pass will not be enabled until the event goes live

You can upgrade your Event Pass for 575 RP and gain access to content like Emotes, Star Shards, Booms, and the Legendary Little Legend, Khaat’Sai in addition to the 100 free Treasure Tokens on the free Pass.

Let’s see what these contents look like up close—but not too close, cause Khaat’Sai looks like they go for the eyes… or eye.

The Pass will also contain 3 new Booms, each of which will be fully upgraded upon unlocking: Soul Power, Soul Static, and God’s Eye.

Chibi Gwen and Chibi Soul Fighter Gwen

Gwen’s not just here to train you for Soul Brawl, she’s also available as our newest Chibi Champion for 1900 RP. Not only does Chibi Gwen come with permission to run with scissors (IN GAME ONLY) but she also comes with her signature boom, Snip Snip!

Gwen will also have her Soul Fighter Gwen variant, available as a Star Content drop from Treasure Realms. Get ready to kill them with kindness, and maybe stitch them up later if you’re feeling even kinder. Soul Fighter Gwen will also have her own Finisher animation that will cut your foes straight to a gray screen.

Shattered Beast Arena

Crash down from the sky and into the Shattered Beast Arena!

The Shattered Beast Arena will ascend to the skies as you level up, catch on fire alongside your win-streaks and celebrate your every W like it’s your last. The arena is only available as a Star Content drop from Treasure Realms!

WELCOME TO THE CHONCC DOME

The Choncc Dome is our first TFT event that can be engaged with fully on Mobile. During the Dome you’ll be met by Soul Fighter Champions and their personal trainers (Little Legends) as they embark on their own journey in the Choncc Dome.

Each pair will have their own missions to complete that will earn you XP towards your Soul Fighter Pass, which will also be accessible via the HUB’s page.

Alright, that’s all the pre-training you need before you embark on your own Soul Brawl tournament adventure from July 19th (afternoon PT) to August 15th (afternoon PT)! Best of luck fighter!
